Unresponsive Trackpad and Keyboard Issue
If your MacBook Pro (Retina 13-inch Early 2015) has the below symptoms;
* Unresponsive keyboard (only the power button functional)
· MacBook Pro 13” Early 2015
This is a common fault for MacBook Pro 13″ Early 2015 generation devices. The problem comes from the defective trackpad flex cable which connects the trackpad to the logic board. This is the main source of the issue. Once the trackpad flex became defective it can affect the functionality of both the trackpad and keyboard. Most of the time if the trackpad connection reset the problem seems fixed. However, the problem will persist in a short time as the main problem is the trackpad flex cable itself. To be able to solve the issue, this part requires service. If you are not a professional we do not recommend trying this repair as other parts or components can be damaged during the work if no precautions are taken.
